Tactx If you were locking in with CF and the opposition switch play to the free CB, what would determine whether you jump press the free CB with a winger, a midfielder or just the CF working back across?

I may have asked one too many questions at this point but anyway lol

Really like the terms pick, pull and progress. How exactly does tactx define those and use them in the coaching context?

Is there somewhere on the site where the 8 presses are outlined? Thanks 🙏

What sort of practice would you have "the core" doing at this point in relation to playing in/ creating the attack?

How would chaining presses be trained? What would some specific triggers be to go from press 1 to press 2 or from press 1 to press 3?

Would it be possible to get the clips with coach paint on them uploaded seperate below the video also if not too much hassle? 🙏

When it comes to different systems are the side connections also used? Say for example the 3-5-2 (3-3-2-2) would the side connection now become like the wingback, attacking midfielder and CF or is this just a completely different style/model?

How are these shifts coached? Is it all pre-determined patterns/triggers? Principles? Complete player freedom? Sideline instructions? How important is this to coach this sort of thing at academy level? Really interesting concept - lots of questions.. thanks

100%, think I was overcomplicating it trying to think about body orientation and speed and direction of travel but keeping it simple is probably best

How do you coach players when to overlap vs when to underlap? What are some triggers/cues for them to identify?
