Continuing our playing out and through theme, we've added a new technical practice for subscribers looking at the use of two midfield players in build-up play. The practice allows the players involved to recognise the scenarios that will arise once we move on to skill and game practices.

Building on the previous sessions, this one moves into a 6v5 as we continue to develop the patterns and principles of playing out from the back, introducing the basic coaching points for building from that platform.

Youth Systems: The Recording is Now Available
If you missed the live class on formation selection in youth football, the recording is now up and free for everyone.
The Tactx team went deeper than the article, which is available, going into more detail on how to build a coherent pathway from the smaller formats right through to 11v11 and how formation choices can support individual player development along the way.
