Our tactical analysis has been published and is open to subscribers. This is a 30-minute discussion from our live stream earlier today.

In it, we cover Arsenal's risk-taking (or lack of) and how this starts on the first build-up line of the attack. We hope this gives you an idea of how to build on against a 4-4-2 as we discuss the shifts in tempo, the role of the 'six', and how to control lines one and two when in possession.

Find the link here; practices on how to build from the first line are due tomorrow.

Good evening,

We have uploaded a collection which includes our very first live stream. In the stream, we discuss the Manchester Derby and pick out some of the standout tactical contributions from both managers.

This format is something we plan to continue with. We will notify all subscribers of the time and date of the live webinars, and they will feature tactical analysis and general coaching conversations.

The collection includes related Michael Carrick practices alongside the 30-minute live stream recording. This is available to everyone.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Morning everyone,

We have uploaded the skill and game practices that build nicely on the two practices shared over the past couple of days as part of our Beginner’s Guide to Coaching.

The skill game is something we’ve used across all levels of the game. It’s easy to manage and consistently places players into 1v1, 2v1, and 2v2 duels.

The game practice is also straightforward to organise and encourages freedom within a framework, while challenging players across a range of scenarios that closely relate to the game itself.

Depending on your level and confidence as a coach, these practices can be simply managed or used to coach key outcomes; the choice is yours.

We hope you enjoy, and have a great weekend.

Afternoon,

We’ve just uploaded a technical practice that progresses nicely from yesterday’s warm-up in our Beginner’s Guide to Coaching.

This practice gives players plenty of touches on the ball, working across different techniques before leading into another fun, competitive dribbling game between the groups.

The skill practice and game will be uploaded tomorrow to complete Session 3.
