Is it possible to download select videos? Would like to utilize a few videos in PowerPoint for team game day preparation. Specifically the 3-4-3 High Pressing videos

You mentioned in passing during your Spain analysis that there are 5 pressing set ups for a 2 pressing against a 3. Have you made a video on that anywhere in your sessions? Would be very helpful

Spain's Defensive Strategy: Live Class Tonight at 6pm ๐Ÿ”

The article is now live.

https://tactxcoach.com/programs/world-cup-analysis-spains-simple-out-of-possession-strategy

If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, it covers Spain's high-pressing systems, the mid-block structure, and the role of Rodri in holding it all together.

We're going live tonight at 6pm UK time to go deeper into all three areas. A great chance to ask questions and discuss the ideas in more detail.

Open to everyone. The recording will be made available to subscribers after ๐Ÿ‘Š

Any chance you could do a class or animations on system shifts when in possession. Example starting in a 4-3-3 but shifting into a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 and the variations of doing so?

Live Class Replay: England's Pressing Problem vs DR Congo

Thanks to everyone who joined and got stuck in with questions, which made for a much better session going through it together. If you missed it live, the replay is in the library now, breaking down England's pressing problem against DR Congo and what we'd have changed at half time.

Any questions after watching, drop them below and I'll get to them.

New Analysis: Japan 1-2 Brazil ๐Ÿ”

A really sharp tactical breakdown of how Brazil eventually unlocked Japan's compact 3-4-3, and why it took until the second half to find the answer.

The piece covers the shape battle between Brazil's 4-3-3 and Japan's setup, the issues Brazil ran into trying to play through centrally in the first half, Danilo's role dropping into a back three and the problems that created, and how Ancelotti's second half adjustment to play with width rather than through the lines turned the game.

We're also running a live class on this one today at 4pm UK time, where we'll go through the analysis in more detail. Can't make it live? No problem, the recording will be added straight after for anyone who misses it and is subscribed to Tactx.

Give the analysis a read before then, if you can, and fire over any questions

Tactical Analysis: Assessing Iraola's Scalabilityย

A brilliant piece of analysis this one, looking at what makes Iraola's model so effective and whether it can scale to the very top of the game.

Written by Mufaddal Idris Burhani, who you can also find on X at @MeiaArmador__

The analysis covers the core principles behind Iraola's approach, the structural trade-offs that come with it, and what the data tells us about his teams when they dominate the ball. Some really thought-provoking ideas on where his model sits alongside some of the game's most influential coaches.

Well worth a read. Fire over your thoughts below
