1. Description of Service
This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about the information and data gathered by Tactx ("Tactx," "us," "we") when you use our football coaching and tactical planning platform, website, and mobile and desktop applications (the "Services"), how we store your information, what information we collect, and the degree to which your information may be used. Tactx takes your privacy seriously. We do not rent, sell, or share your personal information with third parties, except as described below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If you are a registered Tactx user, we will attempt to inform you of any material changes by email. Otherwise, please check back on the Tactx website for the latest version of this policy, available at https://tactxcoach.com/privacy.
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the right to review, correct, or request deletion of any personal information you have previously provided. To exercise these rights, please contact us at tactx@tactxcoach.com. You may also update your personal information directly by logging in to your Tactx account and updating your details in Settings.
2. Data Collection & Use
We collect only the personal data you choose to provide during registration. As part of registering to use the Services, you may need to provide your full name, address, email address, phone number, country, state/region, postcode, and billing information, including payment card or PayPal details. If you register on behalf of a club, team, or coaching organisation, we may also collect team or organisation details and information relating to players or squad members that you or your organisation choose to upload, such as rosters or training footage.
Your data is stored on secure servers operated by us or our service providers, which may be located in the United Kingdom or other countries. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we take appropriate steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with applicable data protection law. You may choose not to provide certain information, but you may then be unable to use the Services or certain features. We will retain your data for up to 30 days after your account is deleted, after which it is fully removed from our systems.
3. Analytics
We may collect and store certain information about your interaction with the Tactx website and Services, including cookies, IP addresses, browser type, device type, location, internet service provider (ISP), entry and exit pages, operating system, time/date stamps, and other related data. Tactx uses this information solely to improve the quality of our Services. If you choose to decline cookies via your browser settings, you may experience limitations in using the Services.
4. Email Notices
When you register to use the Services, your email address will be added to the Tactx mailing list. You will receive welcome information, account information, and other communications related to the Services and any products you have purchased. You may also receive periodic emails notifying you of new features or related information. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time; however, you will still receive essential communications, such as technical support responses, account updates and notifications, security updates, and updates to Tactx's Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy. If you forget your account details, you may use the "forgot password" link on the login screen to receive a password reset email.
5. Business Transitions
If Tactx undergoes a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of its assets, any personally identifiable information we hold will likely be transferred as part of that transition.
6. Security
We protect your data with SSL encryption and other security measures to keep it safe. However, while we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent all unauthorised access. Please take appropriate steps to protect your own account, including using a strong, hard-to-guess password.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Any changes we make to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email.
8. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to request that we not process your personal data for marketing purposes. You may also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us at tactx@tactxcoach.com.
